Peter - First to Walk!
Since having the distinction of being the first to be pulled from the womb, Peter
has happily fallen behind in the twin race, ceding most first honours to Patrick.
But out of the blue and to everyone's wildest surprise, Peter has captured the "First to Walk"
title! Congratulations Peter!!!!!

Conquering the step
The step used to be a source of danger that caused baby alerts anytime Peter and Patrick approached it.
But now Peter and Patrick can navigate it no problem. Teaching Peter and Patrick that going feet first is a much better plan was in vain because they insist on going head first.
Patrick was the first one to figure out that if he laid flat on his stomach, he would be able to reach the bottom with his hands. Poor Peter took a little longer to figure this out and every time he would would try to reach down, he would become bewildered that no matter how much he reached, he couldn't touch solid ground.

Peter and Patrick on their birthday scooters
Patrick became quite a pro on his scooter, mastering maneuvering in all directions, and even perfecting the skill to prevent himself from crashing when the scooter decided to tip over. About to tip over on one side? -- just put your put your foot down on that side! Seems easy huh, but it took many spills to become the smooth driver that he is.
And how about Peter on the scooter? Hmm, some reason Peter didn't like driving around too much -- he much preferred to be pushed.
